Food donations to help the most vulnerable. Make a food donation today and be part of food security in the United Kingdom.

At foodbank, we believe that no one should have to go hungry if they don’t want to, which is why we’re working with food donors across the country to make sure food reaches those who need it. This is particularly important during the cold weather as fuel bills rise, and food costs increase; people across the UK struggle each day to put food on their tables.

Many families are finding themselves skipping meals or going without heating because of low income. Our volunteers understand this first hand, having been on benefits themselves when they were unemployed. Foodbank works hard alongside other local voluntary organizations like food is, food cycle, and food salvage to ensure that food reaches those in need in the most sustainable way.

We also provide food banks in hospitals, schools, and colleges to ensure food reaches the most vulnerable.

Food donation can transform lives, but we need your help. At foodbank, we believe that no one should have to go hungry if they don’t want to, which is why food sharing has become a massive part of our organization’s work over the last few years; it reaches those people who are unable to access food banks for various reasons, such as being too proud or having nothing left at the end of the month after paying bills.

We’re working with food donors across the UK to make sure food reaches those who need it most, and we’re urging anyone who has food they won’t be eating – whether that’s food from their cupboards, food leftover from food donation bins in shops or food they’ve bought at food stalls and markets – to give it to food banks.

Could you not throw it away; share it?
