Migraine is a type of headache. Migraine causes pain when the nerves inside the head are activated.

Migraine causes a headache and vomiting, sometimes with vomiting, and irritation with light and sound.

This condition lasts for four to 72 hours and is frequent.

The cause of migraines is not yet known. Two-thirds of migraines are hereditary.

According to the World Health Organization in 2016, 1 billion people worldwide suffer from migraines.

One in seven people have a migraine. Some may have problems once a month and some may have problems once a week. Some people have problems taking leave while others have normal.

A study conducted by Ajay Rijal, a psychiatrist working at Dhulikhel Hospital, has shown that 20 to 30 out of 100 Nepalis have migraine.

Migraine is the fourth leading cause of disability worldwide. Migraines cause a lot of problems. Affects reading and work. There are social and family problems. It also causes long-term disability.

Migraines are more common in women. Two-thirds of migraine sufferers are women. Although there are hereditary reasons behind this, other reasons have not been found. Migraines are aggravated by eating, stress, insomnia, loud noises, sun and weather changes. Too much heat or cold can also increase the pain.

Migraine is a treatable problem. Physicians and neurologists can diagnose opioid pain by examining the patient’s pain, what happens when the pain occurs, and how long the pain lasts. Migraines can also be diagnosed by other small tests. No other special tests are required. Many patients come to the ‘neurologist’ only after undergoing various tests including CT scan.

Some migraines require further testing. Which is why it can be found out whether the migraine has increased or not. Migraine sufferers can be treated based on their problems. Migraine can be diagnosed by testing for headaches, what happens to the headaches, and how long they have been going on.

Migraine treatment can be divided into different parts. Medication is given on the basis of pain. Medications also need to be taken based on a person’s problem, age and gender.

People with migraines should avoid the causes of migraines. For example, if you have a migraine attack in the hot sun, do not go there, do not eat foods that affect, chocolate, coffee, wine, cheese, etc., if they are affected, they should not be eaten.

Get at least 8 hours of sleep. Exercise for half an hour daily. Drink enough water to avoid too much heat and too much cold.

There is nothing that can be done to prevent migraines, but if migraines are more likely to occur, you need to make your lifestyle healthier and happier. Vegetables and fruits should be eaten in the diet. Don’t take unnecessary stress. This can reduce migraines.
