Currently, there is a shortage of chipsets in the global market. Electric vehicles, smartphone makers and others are suffering due to non-production of chips as per the demand.
It is certain that the Chinese technology company Huawei will also be affected by the chip shortage. The company is preparing to launch the P50 series of smartphones in the coming days.
Earlier, it was said that the market will be available with Huawei’s P50 series Kirin chipset. But now the phone is expected to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset.
Huawei, which is being banned in the United States, is planning to use the Snapdragon chipset along with the inconvenience in the supply of its Kirin chipset.
According to the information received, the supply of Kirin chipset is limited and the company is preparing to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset as the chipset in stock is not enough for the P50 series.
The phone, which will be unveiled by the company as the US bans Huawei from FiveG technology, is expected to have a Forge version of the Snapdragon 888 chipset. This means that the Huawei P50 will come to the market as a Forge phone.
