Just fill your newly raised garden with good garden soil, available from any home or garden center for a few bucks, plant your seeds and you’re ready to go.

If making a box doesn’t excite you or make you interested, you can always rely on a good old pot. As you put flowers in your pot, tomatoes will be growing vegetables on your rooftop great in them. The pots give you extra freedom to move around them to make sure they get the most sunlight. Just make sure your pots are at least ten inches in diameter and twelve inches deep with holes for proper drainage.
