Apple has brought a magnetic battery pack for the iPhone, this is how it works

Apple has unveiled the ‘MagSafe Battery Pack’ for the iPhone 12 series. Priced at  99, the magnetic battery is available on Apple’s official website. This is a rechargeable battery back like a power bank. But it does feature wireless recharge, which is attached to the back of the iPhone. It is said to work on iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max, which support MagSafe. The pack is available in a single size, with a 1460 mAh battery. This means that it cannot fully charge the iPhone. When you connect this pack to iPhone, it charges up to 5 watts. But when plugged into the power desktop, it is mentioned that the charging speed will be up to 15 watts. While this may not be a quick way to charge the iPhone, it will help as an alternative. According to Apple’s official support document, you need an update to iOS 14.7 or later to use this battery pack. According to Apple, how much is charged from this battery pack can be found in the iPhone’s home screen or ‘Today View’ battery widget. The company claims that this pack provides security and reliability for the users in wireless charging.
